The designers brain is for those who have a passion for design and business. It’s for the people who believe that there is more to life than cube walls and 9-5—more than meetings, reports, and sitting in traffic. It’s for the people who don’t believe in TGIF because it’s “Friday” everyday. It’s about design, business, and life but it’s not just for designers.

About Me

I am inspired by people, art, music, storytelling, and design.

I’m a graphic artist, designer, amateur photographer, self-proclaimed foodie, father of three, husband, entrepreneur, and recently, writer. I’ve been self-employed since 2001 and live somewhat of an unconventional life compared to many people in Silicon Valley. I’m involved in my business community through various organizations and enjoy a strong network of amazing people.

I’ve been invited to participate in panel discussions at local high schools and have judged  a number of art contests. I really enjoy being able to give back to the community, especial our youth who are amazingly talented both technically and artistically.

Why?
I want to help people while being able to fulfill my needs for creative expression. The internet gives us a wonderful platform to disseminating ideas, collaborating, and inspiring. I want to utilize its full potential and teach others that anything is possible. You do not need to put restrictions on your life or live by someone else’s rules and you can have a wonderful work/life balance.
